Pro tip: use essential oils to ease periods and PMS
Essential oils are powerful. The most concentrated and parts of plants can be used not only for a diffuser but also as an additive to lotions and baths with healing properties. Here are a few of our favorites as well as how to use them.
1. Lavender essential oil
mix lavender essential oil with your lotion and massage your belly. This can relax the muscles and create a calming feeling
2. Rose essential oil
The smell of Rose is a natural antidepressant! Add some organic Rose flavoring to your morning juice or coffee (food grade only) or drizzle some rose oil into your spray bottle and douse the room. You can also mix this with your creams for use not the body, but do not add to your face
4. Peppermint essential oil
Low energy? Drizzle some of this in in your bath or on your shower floor to feel invigorated, rejuvenated and energized. Peppermint tea can also be a great addition to your PMS routine for extra belly bloat support and digestive support, which could be thrown off by wacky hormones after ovulation.
